The staff at the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base received its third outdoor theater complex with the installation of the Marine Hill Lyceum. This new theater was not only created with staff recreation in mind but it also was designed to withstand some of the most devastating weather events this region receives.
In September, 2017 Hurricane Irma; a category 5 slammed into the coast of Cuba with winds recorded at 150 miles per hour. There was wide spread damage reported but the Marine Hill Lyceum and its custom outdoor audio mounting system weathered the storm and stood strong.
